HCCJ rejected the appeal filed by ARAIEX against the Civil Judgment no. 5570/05th of October 2012

On the 11th of December 2014, in docket no. 2447/2/2012, the High Court of Cassation and Justice rejected the appeal filed by ARAIEX (Artists’ Association of Romania) against the Civil Judgment no. 5570/2012, whereby the Bucharest Court of Appeal cancelled decision no. 305/2011 of ORDA (Romanian Copyright Office) (decision whereby the collection pertaining to the public communication / ambient source was transferred from CREDIDAM (Romanian Center for Performers’ Rights Management) to ARAIEX).
