Decision no. 712/13th of February 2014: HCCJ upheld the appeal filed by CREDIDAM against the Civil Judgment no. 2988/07th of May 2012
On the 13th of February 2014, in docket no. 10989/2/2011, the High Court of Cassation and Justice upheld the appeal filed by CREDIDAM (Romanian Center for Performers’ Rights Management) against the Civil Judgment no. 2988/07th of May 2012, issued by the Bucharest Court of Appeal, amending it in the sense that it accepted the action stated by CREDIDAM and it cancelled Decision no. 288/2011 of ORDA (Romanian Copyright Office) (as well as address no. 15444/2012 of ORDA).
By the above mentioned decision, ORDA granted a deadline for compliance with the law for the amendment of the CREDIDAM Memorandum of Incorporation.
