The justice ruled: CREDIDAM remains the sole collector for the radio source
On the 20th of November 2013, in docket no. 6701/2/2013 – trial won by ARAIEX (Artists’ Association of Romania) wherein CREDIDAM (Romanian Center for Performers’ Rights Management) acted as intervener, the Bucharest Court of Appeal, Administrative and Fiscal Contentious Section rejected as inadmissible the request filed by ARAIEX for the suspension of Decisions no. 120/20th of September 2013 and 121/20th of September 2013 of ORDA (Romanian Copyright Office). Based on the two decisions mentioned above, CREDIDAM was designated as the sole collector of the remunerations owed to performers and/or players from the cable (phonogram and audiovisual) source.
