The Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the ARAIEX request pertaining to the suspension of decision no. 199/12th of November 2012 of ORDA – CREDIDAM as intervener
On the 23rd of April 2013, in docket no. 476/2/2013 – trial won by ARAIEX (Artists’ Association of Romania) wherein CREDIDAM (Romanian Center for Performers’ Rights Management) acted as intervener, the Bucharest Court of Appeal, Administrative and Fiscal Contentious Section, rejected as inadmissible the request for the suspension of Decision no. 199/2012 of ORDA (Romanian Copyright Office).
Based on the decision mentioned above, Decision no. 287/2001 of ORDA was revoked, the latter establishing the rules of access for ORDA to the information system of the collective management bodies (currently, Decision no. 4/2013 of ORDA is applicable).
