The Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the request of ARAIEX pertaining to the suspension of decision no. 4/14th of January 2013 of ORDA – CREDIDAM as intervener
On the 22nd of March 2013, in docket no. 1110/2/2013 – trial won by ARAIEX (Artists’ Association of Romania) wherein CREDIDAM (Romanian Center for Performers’ Rights Management) acted as intervener, the Bucharest Court of Appeal, Administrative and Fiscal Contentious Section, rejected as unfounded the request for the suspension of Decision no. 4/2013 of ORDA (Romanian Copyright Office). Based on the decision mentioned above, the rules of access for ORDA to the information system of the collective management bodies regarding the exercising of the reading function were established.
